Bag filter is used in bag house. Most warehouses use long, cylindrical bags (or tubes) made of woven fabric or felt as the filter media. Dusty gas or air enters the bagger through hoppers (large funnel-shaped containers used to store and distribute seeds) and is directed into the bagger compartment.
Air is drawn through the bags, either inside or outside depending on the cleaning method, and a layer of dust accumulates on the surface of the filter media until air can no longer move through it. When the pressure drop is sufficient (delta P), the cleaning process begins. Cleanup can take place while the brothel is online (filtering) or offline (isolation). When the compartment is clean, normal filtration will continue.

Pressurized air is distributed to each row of filter bags by means of diaphragm valves and bellows equipped with hollow nozzles.
The high-pressure air backflow temporarily stops normal flow and creates a shock wave that will suck dust off each bag surface. A certain percentage of the dough cake falls from the bag into the dust filter chamber.

Operation process of bag filter dust filter system
Check the dust treatment system before operation
Check the mechanical part
- Check that the grease in the exhaust fan-loading screw bearings is complete.
- Check the exhaust fan belt to ensure the tension to operate.
- Check the vibration of the fan before operating.
ATTENTION:
- During welding, cutting, outside the box or inside, absolutely do not turn on the exhaust fan, which will cause the fabric bag to burn and the cloth bag container.
- If you go into the storage bin for repair, use the safety lock switch to the OFF position, leave the board under repair and have someone stand outside.
- Check the electrical signals to ensure enough to operate the machine,
- Power on the power sources of the attached equipment.
- The voltage is sufficient to operate the machine and its attached equipment.
- Check if the warehouse screw signals are on or not.
- Check the cap sensor signal.
Machine operating procedure
- Step 1: Turn the switch to Manual mode.
- Step 2: Press the status buttons to run equipment such as: Exhaust Fan, Conveyor.
- Step 3: Open the compressor, check the compressed air pressure.
- Step 4: Turn the switch to manual mode for the equipment: Dusting bins, screws, ….
- Step 5: Turn OFF mode when no longer in use.
- Use manual mode only when testing equipment or commissioning.
- Move the switch to the off position when stopping manual mode.
- Step 1: Turn all auxiliary equipment of the dust removal system to Auto such as: Dust Cleaner, Airlock 1.1, Dust Collector Screw,
- Step 2: Switch to Auto of dust removal system.
- Step 3: Select to start the central vacuum cleaner fan.
Note
- After the exhaust fan starts up, the signal will be returned to the dust treatment system.
- After receiving the start signal of the exhaust fan, the machine will automatically turn on the conveyor screws and the central dust treatment system.
Stopping the dust removal system
- Step 1: Turn off the central vacuum cleaner fan.
- Step 2: Turn the Auto switch to the Off position.
- Step 3: : Turn all auxiliary equipment of the dust removal system to OFF such as: Dust Cleaner, Airlock 1.1, Dust Collector Screw, ….
- Step 4: Empty the container when dust is at the end of the day to avoid explosion.
- Step 5: Close the E – STOP button when leaving the machine..
Notes in the operation procedure of the Bag Filter dust filter system
- Empty the tank when dusty at the end of the day.
- This is a necessary condition to run the fine crusher.
- The dust keeping schedule is at 9 11 15 5 p.m. daily, the schedule is subject to change in accordance with plant operations.
- There is a schedule to check and maintain the machine daily, weekly and monthly. (Especially check the exhaust fan).
